Wyclef Jean, a HIP-HOP artist, is going to run for president, and I have to admit that if I lived in Haiti, I think I'd vote for him.  What better than a Refugee All-Star to run a country?  Could it get much worse?  After reading that most of the country's presidents have been either overthrown, assassinated, or declared themselves "president for life," or a combination of these, I am thinking "what could go wrong?" 
Technically, if he does a bad job, he'll be ousted anyway.  And he has tons of money he's been dumping into Haiti for years, so hey, why not let him run the country he has been buying.

WHAT WHAT???

So I'm headed to an ENDURANCE RACE this weekend with Amber (my protege from Palmer Home) and Ceci Stasiuk (Endurance Rider Extraordinaire), and Brooke Gillis (Granddaughter of the fella who owns the barn and horses).  I should be excited right?  Trip to South Carolina with girls and horses?  NEGATIVE. 
I never in my life realized how much more I know about horses than other people including people who should know a lot about horses.  It's frustrating!!! 
So anyway... 25 miles on horseback.  There you go.  Nothing to it.  I am now going to poll my readers to find out what you think is more exciting:

DUH!!!  Triathlons on horseback are way better than glorified trail rides. 
I am officially a loser for going into how one type of pony ride is better than another, but I will let you get on your soap box later.

Attempting a Second Day of Blogs....

Day 2 of my blogging...
Had a great weekend working in my barn, organizing, vacuuming, spray painting, etc.  I know.  Sounds like the best weekend ever, right?  Maybe not for everyone, but for me- yes!  I will post pictures shortly of my horse haven.  I have tons of pictures of it on someone's camera, but OF COURSE I have no idea where that might be.  Anywho (because that's not a word, but I still love saying it) I know this is another, "What's she talking about?" "LFINo" moment.
I'm out.  I'll be more interesting later. This is only my second try.

Sorry Ellen...

So I've been following Ellen (not Helen) for quite some time on her blog and decided this- if I think she's interesting, then other people must think so, which means maybe I'm interesting too.  Of course, that's not something that I can be sure of since I have no followers on twitter and I rarely have anything to say on it anyway. 
So Ellen, I am following your lead in hopes that someone out there might think what I have to say is interesting.  Or maybe this is just for me.  Who knows?  We shall see.
